Winter Support

Peasedown St John runs a Snow Warden scheme which is supported by the Peasedown St John Parish Council.

Kathy Thomas is the Head Snow Warden and co-ordinates the scheme for the village.

The wardens work together with the aim of maintaining a clear walk-way to school, doctors and the main shops during icy weather. The scheme relies on volunteers so anyone able and willing to assist please contact us.

Grit bins around the parish are supplied by:

  • Peasedown St John Parish Council (dark green bins)
  • Bath & North East Somerset Council (yellow bins)
  • Curo (yellow bins on Curo land)

Please contract the relevant organisation to have the bins refilled.
