Community Grants

Peasedown St John Parish Council allocates budget each year to our Community Grants Scheme. We welcome applications from organisations that benefit the community of Peasedown St John and organisers of events to be held within the parish.

The scheme for 2024 is now open.

The application deadline is Friday 31st May 2024. 


The following organisations benefitted from a community grant in 2023:

  • Avon & Somerset Mini Police - Funding towards coach travel costs for educational trip to Police horse and dog section in Clevedon - £200.00
  • Avon & Somerset Mini Police - Funding towards promotional boards for use at events and activities - £100.00
  • Bath Allstarz - Coach travel costs to a cheerleading competition - £650.00
  • Bath Allstarz - Funding towards Summer Fun Days at Beacon Hall and Field - £300.00
  • Bath Area Play Project - Hosting of a community summer play day at Beacon Field - £1,000.00
  • Braysdown Allotments Committee - Towards annual BBQ costs £100.00

Plus Village Event Grant

  • Peasedown St John Cricket Club for their Annual Firework Display - £1,000.00

 

The following organisations benefitted from a community grant in 2022:

  • Peasedown St John Scout Group - Camping and flag carrying equipment - £300.00
  • Peasedown St John Women's Institute - Pop up banners to promote PSJ WI at events - £59.98
  • Swan Advice Network - Operating costs of providing community transport for residents - £250.00
