Tracey is the friendly face of Beacon Hall. She has worked for the council for over a decade and covers a range of responsibilities. She will often be the person answering phone calls or booking enquiries. Recently Tracey has taken responsibility for ensuring Ashgrove Cemetery runs smoothly for all the people who need / use it in Peasedown St John. Tracey is also the person you may have spoken to when you book Beacon Hall and if you face a problem or issue during your hire. She is always willing to come and support.

Debbie is a font of knowledge in all things Peasedown St John. Not only does she live locally, she has worked tirelessly for the council for over a decade; ensuring that the plans and wishes of the Parish Council come to life. Debbie supports Councillors with many of the projects they undertake to make Peasedown St John an interesting and pleasant place to be. You will often hear the response of "Debbie will know" when people are faced with a question about past projects (and mostly she does!). Debbie also ensures the street lighting that Peasedown St John paid for, to support our community, work and therefore continue to serve their purpose. She oversees the Allotments and ensures that everybody who rents one meets the high standards required to be a member of our much cherished resource. 

Debbie is also responsible for coordinating alongside Councillors the beautiful plant displays that Peasedown St John enjoys all year and the wonderful display of Christmas lights that are evident around the village at that special time of the year.

Assistant Grounds Caretaker

Luke is a member of the grounds keeping and caretaker team. He supports the maintenance of the Rec. grounds changing rooms, allotments and Beacon Hall site.

You may spot him busily litter picking to keep Peasedown St John beautiful.

Parish Clerk

Sam is our newest member of the team. She is the Parish Clerk and has overall managerial responsibility for delivering the work of the Council to ensure that Peasedown St John is a beautiful and harmonious place to live. Sam recognises that that are a diverse range of groups living in Peasedown, from young families to older residents who have retired and looking for fun and activity to keep them fit and active. She understands that all these groups require resources and facilities and is enthusiastic to support with the delivery of that as the Proper Officer of the Council. She strives to engage with the work of the Council to ensure their wishes are implemented in the best possible way to provide value for money and efficiency and maintains the lawful nature of our Parish Council and their decision making process.

Responsible Finance Officer

Joy is the Responsible Finance Officer. She is the first member of the team to hold this title in a long time.  Joy is a successful qualified accountant. She manages the financial operations of the Council, ensuring that the monies received by the Council to do the work of the Council are used lawfully and consistently with the decision making process Council is bound by.

Simon Freear

Groundskeeper / Caretaker Manager

Simon has had many years of experience at maintaining sports facilities in this region. He has taken on the role of overseeing the many green spaces that we are proud to maintain for the pleasure of everybody in Peasedown St John. He can often be seen scrambling into bramble encrusted areas to identify trees or check for issues that may have been reported. Simons team are our first responders to issues at the Recreational Ground, Beacon Field or Hall, Ashgrove Cemetery and other green spaces that may develop problems. Under Simon's leadership you may see the team out litter picking, bin emptying or planting flowers or trees to improve our area. They will also check play equipment, clean up acts of vandalism on Parish property and maintain sites such as the changing room facilities, spectator stand, play areas and cemetery. You may even spot him on roundabouts putting up signs or banners to promote the work of the parish council.
