Ashgrove Cemetery

Ashgrove Cemetery is a beautiful calm place that the people of Peasedown St John (and some from further afield) use as their final resting place. The Cemetery is not the same as the cemeteries you might find in larger towns, it has an innate peace fostered by the beautifully managed grounds. It is a peaceful quiet place, where the living can find solace and calm when visiting or remembering their loved ones. Peasedown St John Parish Council have developed the site to include a beautiful Garden of Remembrance, maintained by both staff and volunteers. We accommodate full burials, cremated remains interments and scatterings of ashes at the site. The cemetery is located on Eckweek Lane and is open, using pedestrian access, from dawn until dusk (vehicular access is allowed between the hours of 9am and 5pm). It is run in line with the Local Authorities’ Cemeteries Order 1977 as amended by the Local Authorities' Cemeteries (Amendment) Order 1986.
