BULB PLANTING - ECEWICHE GREEN
On the weekend of 14th and 15th November 2009 Parish Councillors turned out to plant over 1000 mixed daffodil and narcissi bulbs on the public open space at Ecewiche Green. Despite the very stormy weather they still managed to plant 600 bulbs with the remainder being planted later in the week. They will now turn their attention to planting bluebells. This should ensure that come next spring the public open space will be awash with a resplendant display of flowers.

The Parish Council's Caretaker, Jim Murtagh, Cllr Aubrey Chegwyn and Council Chairman Cllr Robert Butt photographed during a brief spell of sunshine whilst undertaking the mammoth task of planting an array of over 1000 spring bulbs
